Esteemed Stylist Braxton DeJohn utilized our ‘Overkilt’—crafted from premium upcycled Levi’s denim and authentic Tartan Fabric from England, honoring the legacy of Margaret Hunter Barclay Callison and her family—in their debut photoshoot.
Collaborating with producers Machine Gun Funk and Ill Wayno, we refined Jungle’s unique sound. Many late nights we were serenaded by Jungle’s Melodies and rhythms. The guidance and creativity of his wife, Bianca (aka the sharp-shooting BB Gun) has been invaluable, motivating us to push our creative boundaries.

The Carimi Reunion at UBS Arena on December 27th was nothing short of historic, marking the much-anticipated return of the iconic group formed by Mickeal Guirand, Karlo Vieux, and Richard Cave after an eight-year hiatus. The atmosphere was electric as fans gathered to celebrate their beloved music, which has been a source of joy and connection for so many.
I've known Johnny for some time now, and our relationship goes beyond mere acquaintance—there's a genuine bond and mutual respect rooted in our shared values. Johnny’s dedication to his vision and the spirit he brings to his work have always resonated with me, and being in attendance of his showcase was an honor.
Last Month, I got to link up with the NYC Bronx Born artist 'Scar Lip' at SOB's for her performance with the Youniteam, rolling deep with our new PR Woman, Tammi Noelle Taylor, Chief Editor of TO+NY Magazine, Mari J and sharpshooter photographer Ralphy Clouds. 'This Is New York' artist has been the driving force of our city and has inspired some of my latest fashion and art creations, bringing back memories of the hustle and grind that shaped me into who I am today.
Being on Luckytime Explosion at Solas Studio with Brandon Wisecarver and Morgan Jesse Lapin was a total game-changer for me, ya know? It was a legit defining moment in my career, being able to chat about my journey, my art, and what keeps me inspired.
Last month, fellow Morgan Jesse Lapin, Daze, Ralphy, and I set up shop for a pop-up in Brooklyn, kickstarting the first "May•Hem" event. It's a grind, man, not just about lookin' cool, but about the light we bring into this world.
Y'all ain't gonna believe the epic time the 'Youniteam' and yours truly, Mr. Moda, had jammin' with the Jungle God at Bluepoint in Long Island. We were livin' it up with RSNY MUSIC and the one and only reggae legend Shaggy at the 4/20 Smoke Festival. Ahhh a random highlight of mine was seeing B.O.B. and him then proceeding to do a series of acrobats. I will never forget that. Also bringing my partner Deb, and her getting to see Mr. Boombastic himself! Him performing a nostalgic favorite ‘Oh' Carolina’ was unexpected! Mann, Shaggy is an embodiment of black artistry, swagger and panache!! Feel me?? I look forward to what he will do with Jungle, inshallah.
As a seasoned painter diving into the realm of AI art, I was pleasantly surprised by the creative synergy between technology and MY artistic vision. Embracing this new medium led me to embark on a whimsical journey. So, in celebration of Women's History, culminating in a captivating series where I re-envisioned myself as the exquisite 'Mrs. Moda'!

WEEK 4 - Has been coming to a closing and FAMILY, Faith Connexion has brought a pivotal change in my career as an Artist, Designer and as well as the Voice of A Generation. Plenty of characters and celebrities pass by the shop (Fabolous, Ariana Grande and Meek Mill Just To Name A FEW). Many of which many garner a lot of attention often hyping up the area; a plethora of local artist and even out-of-towners all gather here on No Mercy St.
From Meeting With Chris Habana, to even getting my garments in a few other boutiques (from here to MIAMI, Thanks Cat xo), this new chapter has been fulfilling from the start. Also i'll be announcing a new art studio not far from the shop as well courtesy of my brother, Ty (Our Collaboration Is Coming Out Stupendous!). Crazy that it's in the same studio as the great Scooter -La Forge; feels like destiny.
Overall I'm glad everything in my steps towards success is working out. Eternally grateful to be apart of the Art/Fashion Culture, I've been paying my dues for so long but even now there is still so much ahead of me. I've been trying to maintain my inner peace well but thru m craft and audience I'm certain I will be fine. (Thank You Truth, Those Words Have Been On Repeat All Week)
